137 Days of Sketching and maybe embroidery and applique.
137 Days? That is the number of days from July 1st through the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
I thought about 365 days, but that seemed like an entire year, besides, the holidays are busy. October and November are sort of busy for us but it’s workable and then there is January, there is always January after the holidays, its a calendar thing. I’m not a fan of January except it is Mr. Handsome’s birthday month, that is January’s only redeeming quality, sorry I digressed.
Now back to the 137 days!! Sketching is something I have always wanted to do. I doodle, but I have never worked on sketches in a book. The idea of sketching and then taking some of the sketches and turning them into more sounds so fun! So I have a workable time frame, an idea, and a sketchbook, here we go!
The days before 137 days starts will be used for preplanning, supply acquiring, and idea writing. So far I have little cherries I quickly sketched before the idea was hatched to turn this into a thing, shapes cut from Accuquilt dies and a few drawings laying around that I want to turn into sketches.
Now the really important question? What and where (we know when)? The sketches will be seen here daily, the appliques and embroidery designs will be available on the 137 days design tab and on the website My Quilting Tutorials but they will only be there when I do something like that! Sort of hit and miss. Not every sketch will be a finished design, and maybe not every design will be a sketch,
Now for the paperwork: The sketches, appliques, embroidery designs and all the instructions are part of the copyright thing so please do not steal my designs or my stories
Thank you!
Talk, to you soon,
Jan
